Creativity Heals LO of the week... " Buttons, flowers and tags"

Hello my dear blogger friends..

Its time for my weekly LO for the Creativity Heals site. This weeks DT challenge is called, " Buttons, Flowers and Tags"..
As usual I started by finding the picture I wanted to work with, and then I started the search for the right paper to match. I dont really know WHY I choose a picture of my boys, as with a challenge with flowers, it really lends itself to a girly LO. But a thought crossed my mind.. Why NOT use flowers for boys.. I have never done that before, so as I often use buttons, flowers and tags on my LO, the challenge took on a new twist for me when using flowers with a boy LO.

The chipboard letters are coloured with a brown inkpad, coated with glossy accent and sprinkled with micro beads, before left to dry.

The grass was on the back ground paper, so I just cut around it so I could slide the brown paper down below.

The flowers are made from punched cirkles that i ripped and twisted. Once dry, I inked the edges with the brown inkpad.. I can feel my first tutorial coming on!!!

Im affraid once again I cant help out with where  got anything, as in the past I never keept any packing from anything.
The story behind the picture:
This I can help with though lol. It was one of the few days over the summer of 2009 where the sun was shining. We decided to have a BBQ for the family and a sing-song. My brother-in-law, (on the right) was teaching hubby (on the left with our son Michael) how to play the guitar and Michael wanted a go as well. So AT ONCE I pulled out the camera and snapped away. Its not a great picture as brother-in-law is half hidden, but its one of those snaps that just says it all. They are the Gallagher boys and all 3 really ARE best friends.

Hope you all like what I've done with this challenge, and THANK YOU for any comments.

Hugs, Marleen xxx
