A new style...

Evening blogger friends...

I thought i'd share a quick post with you this eve. As many of you know, I'm doing a demonstration this saturday at my local craft shop. I have done a few classes before and really do love teaching, but this one is a "real" demo.. It will also be for a full day, and that will be a first for me. Im getting a bit nervous, but I'm sure once i get behind the table, i'll be fine...

Today I decided to give the double easel card a go to do for the demo. Im a lacy crafter though, so instead of looking for a template or a tutorial on the net, i just decided to have a go.
This is what i ended up with... I started with a normal C6 and just cut to size as i went along.. As you can tell it went a bit wrong and i ended with the 2 flaps sitting the same way. I have to say I do like the end result, but would really love to hear what you think????

Does it work with the 2 flaps the same way????

Please just be brutally honest, I can take it :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for any comments.

Hugs to all xxx

  4. I can't find anything I don't like about the card. It's nice to have both flaps in the same direction. You don't have to turn the easel around to see the other flap.

  6. It just goes to show how the best ideas often come from what seemed to be mistakes at first. It works extremely well with them both in the same direction, Marleen. You'll be starting a new trend before you know it! Good luck on Saturday! You'll do abrilliant job, I'm sure.

    Much love and hugs!
