Stamping Dragon Challenge "Red, White & Blue"

Hello everyone.

First of all WELCOME to my new followers. It is very much appriciated, and I hope you will stop by often and get inspired by my creations.

Its FRIDAY... YEAH... Hubby will be home, but it is also time for the new challenge over on Stamping with the dragon

The theme for this week is:
"Red, White & Blue".

So lets see what you all make for this weeks challenge.
The prize for this week is 4 images from our sponcer:

Here is my DT cards for this weeks challenge:

The flags on these cards, are an image I found on the net.
The Dragon, the round sentiment and the USA is all from our sponcers.
The strait sentiment on the top card is made on my pc. It is also the reason I made 2 cards for this week.

Im a big fan of cirkel sentiments. So when I was making first card, the Dragon one, I started looking for a freebie sentiment, but couldnt find any. So I wrote to the girls, and "complained".
They set strait to work to make my requirements, the poor souls, but by the time they got ready (and they were very quick) I had been to impatient and made a strait one.

So Janet, sent me a mail with the FAB sentiment pack, and how could i ignore them... So I decided to make another card, but keeping the style the same.

The USA is also a sentiment, I just printed it big enough to use as an image.

I took a few pic's to show how I made the letters:

Print out the flag, and 2 times of the USA sentiment. Make sure they are the same size.

Tape one of the sentiments on top of the flag.

Cut out the letters.

Match them on top of the second sentiment.

Glue the letters in place and outline w a fine tip pen.

There you go. My first primitive tutorial. Hope it can be of help.
Also hope you all like my cards.
THANK YOU for stopping by my blog, and for any comments left behind.

Big hugs, Marleen xxx
