Morning ya all :-)
Jus a quick post to show you all my LO I've made for the
This month theme is:
"Kids"
And our sponcer for this month, with a FAB prize of a scrap kit is:
Here is the LO I've made for this month..
Its a very colourfull LO. Not my favorite colours I admit, but when i tell you the story behind it, it will make sence.
Just a few short months ago, Our County, Donegal, WON the all Ireland final in gaelic football.
Its a HUGE thing here in Ireland, and my son, Michael, really got caught up in it all.
On top of that, Donegal havent won the cup in 20years, so you can just imagine what this rural county was like. I've never seen anything like it. In the 10 years I've lived in Ireland, Ive never seen people coming together like this. Its been wonderful, and is still ongoing with the cup and some of the players still visiting schools and clubs.
The cups name is "Sam Mcguire" named after the founder as far as I know..
Anyway. the LO is made in Donegal colours as you might have guess from the small photo's of the players.
And before you ask... The yellow stripes, are cut out from another peice of 12x12, that had a different colours in between, in the spaces. They are all still attached together, under the picture ;-) So its pure cheating lol
And thats it.. Hope you like my LO. I know my son really love it, and I hope one day, this will be a page he will look at, and feel proud, that he got to experience this huge achivement for our team.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.
Hope to see you joining in with our challenge.
