Quest designer for "Craft my life" challenge

Hi everyone..

Today I want to share a project I've made for a very special occacion.

Elaine, from Craft my life, was looking for guest designers for her challenge, so I put my name down, and will you believe it, I got picked :-) Delighted so I am...

The theme is "Anything but a card"

Although, im not much good at altered art, I have to say, I love the way my project turned out.
Here is what I made:

 
These are infact... Fridge Magnets...

Ive never made anything like them before, and as Ive only just started playing with steampunk, I think I did ok lol..

One day, while blog hopping, I saw someone who had made magnets. I though it was a FAB idea, and a really nice thing to give as a present.
The magnet itself came with a die I bought, but as I store my dies in an album I didnt need the wee sheet that came with the die. I just stuffed it in a drawer for another day. The sheet worked perfect for my magnets, and there is still loads left for another set.
