A scrappage, just for fun..

Hi everyone..

After 2 weeks of being really ill, last night I finally got to sit down and have a play.
Over the easter holiday, my family and I had to take a trip to Dublin, and of course stopped at the craftshop there. I bought the "All Aboard" series from Docrafts while there as I cant get it at home.

I just love this series. And that is what I had a play with last night.

Here is what I made:

This is a picture of my 2 eldest kids and their Aunty. Aunty is normally the photographer so to get a pic with her in is really special. And when I looked through pictures to scrap with this series, I knew this one was just perfect.

Aunty is always the first one to take our kids out for outings. She is a natural explorer so these papers just fits perfect, even for that deeper meaning that goes into a Scrappage.

I LOVE maps. Even before I ever started crafting, did I love maps. The piece of brown craft card, is stamped with the map-stamp fron the Docrafts series..

This little compas, is acctually a real compas. It came on a pencil case my son had, but as any crafter know, nothing gets thrown out till it has been striped of anything usefull. The pencil case was long past its best days so off came the compas and onto my page..

And that is it from me today. I hope you all enjoyed my work.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

  4. I love this blog post - not just the project, but also your description of what it means, and how the little compass came from a worn out pensil case and was put to good use as an embelishment on the page. Such a great idea.
