Hi everyone..
A little post to show you what I have made as part of the DT for
The theme for this month is:
"Vintage"
One of my favorite themes AND we got to play with stamps from one of my favorite stamp companies, Visual Image.
They are our sponcers for this month.
Here is what Ive made for this months challenge:
For this card I had fun playing with clear embossing powder.
Its not something I use all that much, but this stamp just lends itself to the method.
All I did was stamp the image onto a piece of white card using Versamark, then springle with clear embossing powder. Shake off the extra loose power and heat the image with the heat gun. Leave the image to cool for a few minutes, then crunch it up. Straiten the image back out, and with circular motions, starting at the edges, cover with distress ink.
For the base card, I made the boarder, using a scrap piece of paper to cover the rest of the card, by simply stamping the greeting and the small clocks.
For this card I used:
Base card.
Distress ink.
Versamark glue ink and clear embossing powder.
Car stamp from Visual Image.
Greeting stamp from Visual Image
Clock stamp, a freebie from Docrafts magazine.
And that is it. A very simple card, where the image really speaks for itself.
I hope you like what I've made.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.
