Morning everyone..
Well after a couple of weeks working behind the scenes as well as teaching a fanstatic promarker class, Im back to my neglected blog..
My post today is once again for my favorite vintage digital designer.. yep you guessed it, its for
My post today is a bit of inspiration over on the Tsunami Rose blog and I want to share it here as well. This month, the DT is showing of the fantastic halloween kit
Its such a fanstastic kit and Ive had so much fun making my projects for this month.
My project for today is an 8x8 scrappage.
Im a very keen scrapper but admit I have rarely scrapped halloween. But here is what Ive made:
This picture is of my 2 older babies. Its taken a few years ago, but it was one of those pic's that I just never known what to do with. Well that was till I recieved this fantastic kit.
I simply layered up a few of the papers, cut out a few of the embelishments and layered it all up. My swirls are made of felt and an embelishment Ive had in my stach for ages.
We dont really celebrate halloween all that much in our house. We dont celebrate halloween where I come from so its not something Ive passed on to the kids. Each year we have a little party, but instead of going trick or treating, we have a little hunt for sweets around the house, before we sit down and watch a movie.
I finished the page of with bling and a few brads.
Its a very simple page but its perfect for my picture. The kit has the halloween theme, its vintage but its not scary. We dont do scary in our house ;-)
