Morning my dear blogger friends..
Today i want to share another piece of altered are for
Tsunami Rose.
Tsunami Rose.
This time its a coffee jar I've altered..
Im starting to really enjoy watching "trash" being turned into something really pretty..
I started by painting my jar with a thin coat of ordinary white paint. Then added some gold flakes to the wet paint.
While the paint was drying, I cut 2 strips of one of the 12x12 printable sheets and tags from
Tsunami Rose Design.
Tsunami Rose Design.
I layered my cut-outs on to the jar and covered the whole jar in a coat of glass sealer.
This did make some of the colours from the printed sheets run a but, but it only added to the vintage feel.
Once the sealer was dry, I finished the jar with some lace, ribbons, the flower and the pearl. Voila..
Its was a really simple project to make and having really gotten the "altered jar bug" im now saving any jar we empty in this house lol..
Hope you like and thank you for stopping by.
