Forgotten stash series - Decoupage

Howdy ya all ;-)

Continuing my "Forgotten stash" series today.

If you havent read my previous post on Forgotten Stash, heres the deal:
Most of us crafters buy a load of crafty goodies, all with the best of intentions.. Be it stamps, papers, dies, decoupage, embelishments ect ect.. We all do it. We buy, maybe play once and then it goes to the side as either our favorite stuff comes out or something else new..
This leaves us all with a load of crafting goodies that goes forgotten and unloved..
I am beyond guilty of this hence why I set out on a mission to rummage through my shelves and boxes and make some projects with all this forgotten stash..
If you want to follow my blog series of Forgotten Stash and see my earlier posts, just go to the labels on the right side bar and press "forgotten stash". You can also follow me by email to get any updates I make here on my blog. Just find the "follow me by email" box out on the right.

Those of you who follow my blog would have seen the scrappage I posted last sunday. I was using some papers I found in my stash. Well I made 2 cards with the rest of the papers and I used decoupage from the pack shown below. Im guessing it must have been a freebie from a magazine as I wouldnt buy decoupage. A very cute pack though and its tested my skills as well as my patience with all the cutting.
Im really happy with the outcome as well as the amount of cards I've managed to make from the pack so I will have a couple of posts next week sharing these cards as well.

For the following cards I've used the decoupage from this pack.

Not my usual style at all but I really like the outcome of these cards. Ive kept the cards with no embelishments as the papers are quite busy and just finished them with a greeting.

And that is all from me for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.
And dont forget, If you leave a comment with a link to your blog, Ill pop over and leave some love too.

And why not come and visit me on FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or my FB page.
Happy Crafting.

  2. I know I have just ridiculous amounts of paper packs put away that I've never used. I keep thinking I'll get them out and then get distracted by something new and so it goes on! Cute cards you've made, maybe I'll have another peak at my lot today! x

  3. I guess I'm a little confused. Decoupage in the US is usually doing a project that you cover with something like Mod Podge. Usually something that is paper pieces in a collage type piece. Is decoupage working with die cut pieces?
Whatever, the cards are very sweet. TFS!
