A farewell to a DT..

Hey Bloggers

Today, is a post I write with a bit of a heavy heart. Its a farewell to my Dt spot for
Graciellie Design.

I have really enjoyed my time with Graciellie and have loved creating with the amazing designs. And I want to extend my warmest Thank You to Gracie for having me.

I had already made a few projects in advance and I decided a perfect way to say goodbye, would be to share these projects.

All the kits I've used can be found over in the Graciellie Design Etsy store. I hope you will pop over to her store and have a nosy. The kits are all digital and once purchased, can be used over and over again.

This one is made by my daughter Abbie. She is 7 and loves crafting. I promised her Id share her card also when it was time to share mine.

And that is it for today. Once again thank you to Gracie for having me and I wish her and the DT all best for the future.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Graciellie New Release Bloghop..

Hey Bloggers

Its time for the second BLOGHOP of this month over on
Graciellie Design.. We are still teaming up with Unity Stamps who has released a rubber version of the stamps..
Pop over on the Graciellie blog for all the details and to start the hop..

Before I share my project, I want to mention another company.. This month, some of us Graciellie girls, have been so lucky to team up with Westcott. Westcott does some amazing product and have been so kind to share with us girls to try out.

I only used the paper trimmer and the knife for this project but I wanted to share a pic of the amazing sissors as well as I truly love them.

This card is really soooo simple.. It's a one layer card. Both my image and sentiment is copy and pasted strait into "WORD" and centered. And then simply printed onto water colour cardstock.

I coloured with H2O's so there is a little sparkle to the image. I distressed my image using the Westcott knife. (Please watch your fingers if you try this, this knife is really sharp) and added a bit of distress ink around the edges..
For this card I used the stamp set called Blessed.
Both the image and the sentiment is from the set.

And that is truly it.. So simple. A very quick and fun card to make with very few supplies.

Right BLOGHOP... IF you have just popped on to my blog for a nosy, Thank you, BUT if you want to follow the hop, pop back to the Graciellie Blog to start.. and if you are already following the hop, its time to pop over to Milagros blog..
Dont forget to add a comment to ALL the blogs to be in with a chance to win.

Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Graciellie New release teaming with Unity Stamps and Westcott..

Hey Bloggers..

I have a rather long post for you today.. First of all.. its NEW RELEASE time over on Graciellie Design.. BUT this month Gracie has teamed up with Unity Stamps to make a rubber version of the stamps.. This means that you have the choice of digital stamps as normal OR rubber stamps..

Things runs as normal though, our usual new release BLOGHOP is still happening.. only difference is the prize.. For this bloghop, Unity stamps is sponcering with 3 prizes of stamps.. But do pop over on the Graciellie blog for all the details and to start the hop..

Before I share my project, I want to mention another company.. This month, some of us Graciellie girls, have been so lucky to team up with Westcott. Westcott does some amazing product and have been so kind to share with us girls to try out.

I decided to make a scrappage for this hop.. I used the stamp set called "May Blessings Follow You". A beautiful and delicate set with beautiful greeting to match.

Here all the goodies I recieved and used, from Westcott.

After printing and colouring I used the fine nip sissors and the craft knife to cut out my flowers.
I have crafted for many years and can honestly tell you that this craft knife is amazing. The blade is strong yet thin enough to make it curve a bit when cutting out.

This paper trimmer has a Lock feature. A great feature to ensure you a perfect cut each time.

These sissors are amazing also.. They are the heavy weight sissors and lie so well in the hand.

I used the Glue Pen to add all my elements and to give them a bit of a lift off the page.

This is the stamp set I used.

But that is all from me today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Graciellie Design, Inspiration and SALE

Greetings Bloggers.

Can you believe its september already?? Time flies when your having fun :-)
And its time for fun with

This month Gracie is starting the month off with a bundles sale so make sure you pop over to the STORE to check it out. Bundles include 4 stamp sets and will be offered at 30% off until Sep.14th. No code needed.

For my project for today I have used the digital set called Beautiful Birthday Wishes

Forgive me, this project was very hard to photograph due to all the shine. Its another play with foil. Ohh Im hooked on foil now..

I made this because I wanted to try out Gracies molted foil background. Did you see it?? Its an amazing idea and being new to foil, I lapped it up lol.. Find it HERE if you want to see it.. It will explain how I did background on my card.

My flower, my bees and the greeting have been printed from the Beautiful Birthday Wishes digital kit. I printed with my toner printer and added foil and popped it through my laminator. It works ok for me to do it this way but I've noticed my laminator makes streaks and tend to miss a spot or 2 when I foil. I may have to consider investing in a foiling machine, but for now, this will have to do.

Well that was it really. Once foiled I fuzzy cut it all and layered everything up. I added a couple of feathers and a couple of handmade clay swirls under my flower, to give a bit more "wow" but thats it.

And that is all from me today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Graciellie Design - Inspiration

Hey Bloggers

Its time to share a bit of mid month inspiration for

Of you follow me on FACEBOOK, you might have seen that I have just "discovered" foiling. Well ive known about it for a long time as my sister is a big fan, but until now, Ive not had the tools to try it out myself. Well after a visit to my sister over the summer, where she showed me how to do it, Im now hooked and I went strait home and ordered a toner printer.
I already had a laminator so I decided to try that put before I decided if I need to invest in a foiling machine.. So far so good, my laminator is doing good and here is what Ive made.

I have used a vast amount of designs from the Graciellie Design STORE.
The Rose/clock is from the "True Direction" set.
The Dove is from the "Peace" set.
The butterflies are from the "Black &White" paper pack (also digital)
The sentiment is from the "Wonderful Things" set.

All I did was to print all the designs I wanted. I use "Word" to re-size and print. Once printed on my toner printer I ran the designs through my laminator with the foil.

The last thing was really just to cut out the designs, layer them up and voila. I just love this card and Im truly in love with foiling now.

And that is all from me today. Thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Graciellie Design Inspiration Blog Hop

Hey Bloggers

Its time for the 2nd "New Release" Blog Hop over on
Graciellie Design.
Pop over to the BLOG to start the hop

This month we are using the new release of  digital stamps and papers called Magnolia Dreams. Pop over in the STORE to see all the amazing designs from Graciellie. Gracielle has also teamed with Paper Temptress and released a matching paper pack.

Here is what I have made for this hop.
For this card I started by printing my background sheet. That way had it ready to colour matching for the next step. I then transferred my magnolia flower in to "WORD". (I simply copy and paste). I resized it and copied and pasted that flower 10 times, then printed. I printed onto water colour card stock (140g) as I used my ZIG markers to colour.

As I said, I printed the flower 10 times. This was because I cut out the middle section on 5 of them and used them to decoupage the remaining 5. It gives the flowers so much more dimention on the card.
Once I finished colouring I went over all the flowers with a wink of stella shimmer pen.

Once my flowers was done it was time to print my sentiment. I had the size of my card measured out on a piece of copy paper so when I printed I could see the size of the sentiment versus the card. It took me a few tries to get the size just how I wanted but it was worth it.

And then it was just a matter of popping it all together. A bit of distress ink around the edges of the sentiment and a bit of faux stitching.

If you are taking part in the blog hop, you now have to pop over to Milagros
If you only just popped on to my blog but want to join the hop, pop back to Graciellie Design.

And that is all from me today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Graciellie Design - New release Bloghop and Exciting news..

Hello Blogger friends..

Well will you know... Remember that guest spot I did for Graciellie Design in June?? Well a DT call came up at the end of June and I decided to apply.. And I got Lucky and GOT IT...

So today I'm sharing my first post as part of the Design Team..
As always we are sharing the new releases in a blog hop and by god they are amazing.

I have used the new "Magnolia Dreams" digital stampset and the "Magnolia Dreams" digital papers. You can find them and all the other amazing artwork in the Graciellie Design Etzy STORE.

Here is what I have made for this bloghop:

I just love these papers and this image. I started by printing my papers, my flower and my sentiment. I use word for all my printing and I just copy and paste images and papers strait into word and I can re-size all I want.
I printed my flower onto water colour card stock but my papers and sentiment onto smooth white card stock.
Once printed, its best to leave your prints to dry for a bit, especially when colouring in. I tend to print in the evening and work with the prints the next day.

My flower is decoupaged and coloured with Zig clean Colour Real water colour markers and I added a bit of sparkle with a shimmer marker. I used a little bit of distress ink around the edges of the papers but other then that nothing.. Nothing at all.. These designs are so beautiful, they can carry themselves.

Right BLOGHOP..
Pop over to Graciellie Design where everything will be explained but simply hop from blog to blog, remebering to leave a comment on each blog.
Im the last in line so if you have landed her you should already have visited everyone else..
If you visited "only" to see my project, thank you, but DO jump back to Graciellie Design as this blog hop is very special, but as I said, all is revealed over on the Graciellie Design blog..

Here is the list for the blog hop

And that is all from me today. Thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.
