Today I want to share a LO I've done for a new Design Team I been lucky to get picked for. Its for a very special place called Creative Cafe. Its an American Website for abused women, getting together (on the net) for support and share their crafts. It covers loads of different crafts and has challenges, give aways but most of all, it gives inspiration and hope. Even in the short time I;ve been part of this special place, I have already made some new good friends. Not everyone has been abused may I add, and everyone is welcome, the main aim is just to be there for each other and share our craft. Please stop by and show your support.
Our first DT challenge is called "all about me". I dont Scrap pictures of myself often so I really struggled to find a picture with me and my kids. In the end, I found this one on hubby's phone. It's not the most flattering picture of us, but it really shows us as a unit. Me in the middle, surounded by my kids. My wee boy is talking, hence his screwed up face, but his nick name IS "chatterbox" so it couldnt get any better... The picture is taken at Belfast Zoo during the summer, one one of the few days it did'nt rain.
What I used:
- Paterned papers from "g.c.d studio" called "Melody Ross"
- Paper die cut doily
- wooden letters painter in "red pepper" Dabber's from Tim Holts
- Chipboard letters painter in "black" Dabber's from Tim Holts
- Dymo with red tape
- Buttons, gems, swirl and glitterglue
I hope you all like my LO and THANK YOU for stopping by.
Hugs, Marleen xxx
