Crafty Blogglers Network Challenge "Love paints"

Good morning everyone..

Its time for the new Challenge over on Crafty Bloggers Network.
The theme for this challenge is "Love paints".
So get your old paints out and get as messy as you like.

For this challenge I choose to do a scrappage.
For the CBN challenges I normally make cards, but as I couldnt come up with an idea with paints for a card, I went with an LO.

The picture is of my 2 eldest children, Emma & Michael. Its taken a good few years ago now, and I have acctually scrapped it 2 times before. But I love it so much, as it really shows the love they have for each other. They truly are best friends.

I used the blue paperpack from the capsule collection from Docrafts for this LO.
I painted the background paper with white and blue acrylic paint and left it to dry while I painted the chipboard letters. I used the same coloues for the letters only adding another darker blue in the mix as well. Once dry I coated them with glossy accent and dropped littel beads into the gloss.
I made the rosettes using a die from Tim Holtz, and all I added was a dew drop from papermania in the middle.
The pearl strings, I made myself, just using craft wire and treading pearls onto it. The ends of the wire, I just bent into a loop, into the end pearls to stop the them from sliding off.
A few dewdrops here and there, finished of the LO.

Hope you like my LO and THANK YOU for all your wonderful comments.

HUGE hugs, Marleen xxx
