Craftymess Challenge "Distressing or Embossing"

Evening blogger friends..

Im blushing here.. this post was supposed to go live this morning. I was so busy last night i totally for got to get it sorted.. Sorry!!!

Anyway the new challenge for the renamed Craftymess challenge blog is now LIVE..

The theme for this challenge is "Distressing or Embossing"

Here is my DT card for this challenge:

For this card I covered a card blank with a natural paper, leaving a wee edge of the the card blank visible.
I then cut a piece of white paper to cover the naturel paper, again leaving an edge.
I then took the white paper and ran through my big shot in the Tim Holts cogs embossing folder.
Before addong the now enbossed white paper, i coated it with distress ink.
I then stamped my LOTV stamp, and coloured it with promarkers.
Before mounting the image to a piece of the natural paper, I gave the edges a coat of distress ink as well.
I left the bottem of the natural paper longer then the image and ripped it inatead of cutting it, to leave it a bit rough looking.
I then used a die to cut a few cogs, coated with distress ink, and added to the side of the card.
Last I added the little greeting.
All done..

Hope you like my card, and THANK YOU fro all your lovely comments.

HUGE hugs, Marleen xxx
