Stamping with the Dragon DT card.

Good Morning my dear blogger friends.

Its time for a bit of inspiration for Stamping with the dragon.
We currently have a challenge here, the theme is "weddings".

The card I made for today is a bit different then what I normally make for this DT. As many of you know the Dragons that I normally feature is some of my favorite digi stamps, But not only can you find stamps in the store here, you can also get full paperpacks to download.

The paper pack I used for this card is called "A man thing" and you can find it here.
I only used 3 differnt sheets, but there are actually 10 different papers to print in the kit.
I will be using some of the other sheets in future projects.

With this card, I wanted to show, not only the dreaded Male card, but also what can bemade without the use of a main image.

I used the Birthday tickets that I have used before, but any tickets can be used for this idea.

I first printed out all the sheets in the kit and left them to dry overnight.
I then cut the dark blue sheet to fit the card, but leaving a wee boarder of the card. I then did the same with the light blue sheet.
I then cut a strip of the stripy paper, layed it over the card, and added some twine. The knot of the twine is on the inside of the card.
I die cut the stars using nestabilities. The big grey star is cut as a frame and mounted on foampads. The dark blue one, inside the gray is tucked under the twine and just added flat with doublesided.
The tickets were also printed the night before and all I did to them was cut them out, add a bit of distress ink and tuc them under the twine.
To finish off, I added the 3 small stars and a few dew drops and added the faux stitches.

Hope you like my card, and THANK YOU for stopping by my blog.
HUGE Hugs to all, Marleen xxx
