Craft for the Craic Challenge

The challenge over on Craft for the Craig is well and truly up and running..

Im sharing a bit of mind month inspirtaion.

The theme for this month is "Never used before"

Here is what I have made:

For this project I have used a paper pack Ive never used before. It was a present that i never got time to play with before. All the elements on my card is from the pack.

The image is from Delicious Doodles. Called "butterfly"

I printed the butterfly onto watercolour card and coloured with Distress markers.

Craft for the Craic Challenge.. "Favorite colours"

Morning everyone..

A midmonth post for the challenge over on the 

Craft for the Craic.

The theme for this month is 

"Favorite Colours"

Here is what I have made

 as you might have guessed my favorite colour is Yellow.

I simply love the fact that is a bright and happy colour.

For this challenge I decided to try my hand at CAS (clean & simple). I have done CAS a few times before but I dont feel like I mastered the art of it yet.

The stamps Ive used are from Tonic Studio. I got them for a demo I did a while ago and have used the bumble bee several times, but this time I wanted to play with the flowers as well.

And that is it from me for today. A very simple card. I hope you like it.

Craft for the Craic Challenge

Morning everyone

Its time for the new challenge over on 

Craft for the Craic.

The theme for this month is:

Summery & Flowery

Here is what I have made for this challenge:

 

I went for a gift box for this challenge. My sister and her boyfriend came over to visit us in May and I wanted to make my sister a little keepsake. I decided I wanted to make something she could use, so not only would it look pretty in her home but also be usefull. 

This box started as a brown card box and I simply painted it white and covered it with papers. The papers are a magazine freebie and the big flower is also made with the papers. The clock is cut with a die and covered with clear embossing powder.

The little flowers, leafs and the key had been made with clay and moulds, and then just painted white.

Craft for the Craic Challenge " Baby"

A lovely theme for this month, one where you can go really cute and fuzzy if you like hehe..

Theme is "BABY"..

As my sister has just had her first baby this was really fun for me to do..
Anyway here is what I have made for this challenge:

 Fot this project Ive used goodies I picked up from Panduro Hobby, last time I was home in Denmark.
My sister was expecting at the time so I picked up this series in both pink and blue.. just to be covered lol.. (She had a girl) Needless to say I still have tons left of this series, but it IS one of the cutes baby series Ive ever seen.

A simple matting and layering card. Image stamped and coloured with promarkers.
The little banner is a die where I have then stamped the word "baby" onto.

Craft for the Craic Challegne "Easter or Spring"

Hi Everyone..

Great news to share today..

I've been invited to join the DT for
Craft for the Craic..

(Craic means fun here in Ireland lol)

Its an Irish run challenge blog all just for fun.

The theme for the April Challenge is:

"Easter or Spring"

Here is what I have made for this months challenge:

For this card I made the card blank using my grand dies.. 

Then covered with papers from "my minds eye"
The twine is just swirled around the card while open and then tied at the bottom. Flowers are from "Prima" and the tags are also from the paper pack.
