Funky Hand Inspiration - Now thats funky CD.

Hi everyone..

2nd post of this month for

Funky Hand Design.

This month the DT is playing with the 

"Now Thats Funky" CD.

You can find it and all the other goodies in the STORE.  

For today Ive made a scrappage.
Once again Ive gone for the A4 format simply because I only have an A4 printer lol
For a long time I didnt scrapbook much, especially for my DT post, simply because I normally only scrap in 12x12 but since trying my hand at the A4, Im enjoying scrapping again.

Ive even opened my own scrapbooking group on Facebook, so if you are a scrapbooker or just fancy a nosy or maybe even want some inspiration to try your hand at, why not pop over, we'd love to have you. Join us HERE.

Here is what Ive made for today using the digital papers from the "Now thats Funky" CD.

 

This page is simply put together with a couple of sheets printed from the CD with a few added embelishments from my stash. I have to admit, Im more of a vintge girl, so I dont have much in my stash that is "Funky", but I think I managed a fresh and fun page.
My daughter has already claimed the page for her room as it features my SIL's dog who has sadly passed away not long ago. Both of my kids has know him since they were babies and they both loved loved to play with him and our own dog out on the lawn. Needless to say, this really is a special memory.

Funky Hand Inspiration

Morning everyone and welcome to my blog.

Its time for my first post of this month for 

Funky Hand Design.

This month the DT is playing with the 

"Now Thats Funky" CD.

Ive also had a play with the"Monster Rabbit" digital stamp.

You can find him and all the other goodies in the STORE.  

I made a little gate fold card for today. I just used a prescored card I bought so all I had to do was cover the 2 "gates" with a sheet of printed paper from the CD.
My image is printed and coloured with Promarkers.
I finished with a bit of candy, a greeting and a few lines with a fine marker.

Its quick and simple and will do for any "boy" birthday, no matter what age.

Funky Hand Inspiration

Morning everyone.

 

A post today for 
Funky Hand 

 

  Today's project is something completly new for me. Ive made a Pocket Letter using the
V. Funky CD.

 You can find it in the STORE, HERE. 

Ive never made a Pocket Letter before. To be honest, untill a few weeks ago, I never even heard of them. But after finding a FB group and matching blog, I had a nosy and decided to try them out and to be honest, I think it was quite fun.

 

Now Im still not really sure of all the "rules" for making pocket letters and I used a 4 pocket instead of a 9 pocket sleve as that was all I had. But never the less, here it is..

 

 

As I said above I only had a 4 pocket sleeve where I think the norm is 9 pocket but I think the idea is that you decorate the pockets on the inside and outside. I think you can add some goodies too but a short letter is the key. The idea is that you then swap your pocket letters with a partner around the world. This Letter is going to Canada to a new friend.

It seem a good way to use up scraps of papers or scrapkits you may have lying round and as the pockets can fold up, and you only add what you wish, postage can be kept down.

Funky Hand Inspiration - V. Funky

Afternoon everyone..

Im a little late with my post today for Funky Hand but better late then never I guess..

So let me get right too it..

Todays post is an A4 LO (LayOut) made using the V. Funky CD.

You can find it in the STORE, HERE.

 

This LO is made using the Mexican Night papers from the V. Funky CD. I just love the colours and as many of you will know, Im always drawn to all things vintage. Now the designs themselfs are as it says on the tin, Funky, but the colours fittet me perfect and the added gems and the rustic stitching gave this LO the vintage feel I love.

Funky Hand Inspiration - Funky Seasons

Its once again my turn to share a spot of inspiration

This month we are having a play with the

This time I used the "Spring Walk"  papers of the CD.

Here is what I've made:

 You might have seen my sneaky preview of my flower cutting in our FACEBOOK group but here is finally the finished result.

I used only 2 sheets from the CD for this card (as well as my backing card stock)
I simply printed the flower sheet and die cut my circle. From the rest of the sheet, I cut all my flowers. Yes it DID take quite some time, but I honestly think it was worth it.

My second sheet was my letter tiles. In order to get my letter in the right size, I transfeered the sheet into a word doc and resized it.

Once all letters and flower was cut, it was a simple matter of adding them all to my card.
I finished off with a bit of glitter glue in the center of my flowers.

Funk Hand Inspiration

For my first projects this month Ive used the "Spring Whispers" papers of the CD.

 The little gift box is a template that comes on the CD. There is a printable template as well as some with design, like this one, on them. Such a quick little gift bag.

I just love these zingy papers. The colours are so vibrant and sets of a CAS (clean & simple) card perfect. The little flowers and the leaves are made from the papers as well and the letters on the card also come on the CD.

For today, Ive used the download called: "Hearts & Flowers"

Here is what Ive made:

 For this week I made a couple of little gift boxes.
My daughter asked me to make her 2 small boxes as part of a birthday present for her friend. I have to be honest, purple is my least favorite colour but when my daughter saw the papers she was adament the that was the ones she wanted.
The boxes are made using a memory keeper gift box board so no magic in that lol.
All the embelishments (bar the button and string) are from the kit so all I did was cut them out and layer them up.
Finished with the buttons and strings and voila..

Funky hand Inspiration - I Heart you

Time for my second post of the month for 

Funky Hand Design.

This month we, the DT are using all the love themed downloads.
You can find them all in the STORE...

For today, Ive used the download called "I heart you"

Here is what Ive made:

 

Those of you who pops by my blog from time to time or follow my FACEBOOK page will know that I have a LOVE for all things vintage.
Now I LOVE these funky designs that Anice, our boss-lady, makes, but I thought that it would be fun to try and mix the 2 styles.
The jar is coloured with Androndiac alcolhol inks and then decorated with the papers from the "I heart you" kit. THe letters are also from the kit, just cut out, pressed into a versamark inkpad and embossed with clear embossing powder.
THe rest was simply just finishing it of with loads of beads on lace, a few flowers and a bow.

This month we, the DT are using all the love themed downloads.
You can find them all in the STORE...

For today, Ive used the download called "I love you sew much"

Here is what Ive made:

To make this card i simply covered my base card with one of the papers from the download.
I then cut the strings of hearts out from one of the other sheets.
The letters come on a sheet in the kit and I simply cut the letters out, pressed them into a versamark inkpad and covered them with clear embossing powder.
I did the same with the butterfly.
I finised by adding crackle glaze to the hearts and adding the metal heart from my stash.

Forgotten Funkie - Winter Wedding

Morning blogger peeps :-)

It is tiiimmmeeee... Time for our Forgotten Funkie of the month...
I love this spot on my blog each month. Basically its us, the DT, that chose an "old" download from the store to work with. We all work with the same download and I just love seeing how we all create something SOOO different but with the same material..

Andway, to see what my teamies have made, pop over the Funky Hand Blog.

This month we have used the download called "Winter Wedding". You can find it in the STORE with all the other amazing downloads and CD's.

Here is what Ive made:

As the name of the company suggest, its all about being FUNKY.. So my card is not your typical classic wedding card. Its funky lol..
Its once again a very simple design, the way I like it the best.

I made this card but cutting 3 panels of the spotty paper and added them strait to my card blank. I then just 3 smaller panels and added on top using foampads to raise them. My sentiment i made on my pc and just cut out, matting it onto another piece of the spotted paper. Added a bit of tull underneath and a couple of flowers. Voila..
