Imagination Crafts Challenge..

Hello blogger friends
and welcome to MARCH!!!
Wasnt it just christmas??

Anyway, its time for the new challenge over on
Pop over to see all the rules and regulations..

For today Ive made a couple of tags..
Its something I've just started having a real go at, and I really like it..

Ive used the following goodies from the Imagination Crafts STORE..
DS Dragon fly Stampset (I used the greetings)

Here is what I've made:

This tag is made with my mask and embossed with black embossing powder.
the edges is stamped with a background stamp from my stash and white paint then its all smothered in distress ink. My greeting is stamped and also embossed with black powder.
The butterflies was stamped on black card and embossed with white.
This tag was made with my stencil and distress inks. My meltpost then came out for a play and I made the back ground stamping and the key with that. I finished with my greeting form the stampset and ribbons..

These tag I just made for fun, simply to try out some tecniques I hadnt tried before.
I hope you like them and thank you for popping by.

Imagination Crafts mid-month inspiration.

Hi everyone..

Its time for the mid-month challenge inspiration post for

Pop over to the CHALLENGE BLOG for all the details.

For this project I have used:

This card really came about when I was sitting and having a play when I originally got my goodies for the DT.. I never knew that Imagination crafts did card stock as well so I wasnted to try out the sparkle medium on the card stock. Then  found some matching coredination card stock and stamped my image before distressing with a sanding tool. The stamping was a bit faint on the coredination, so I decided to decoupage the dragonflies. But as I stamped onto the brown coredination, it was hard to see the stamping, so I cut out the butterflies and used a paintbrush to add some of the sparkle medium onto them to better show them off.
My sentiment is made with a freebie embossing folder and again sparkle meduim added to make it stand out..

And that is it from me for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Imagination Crafts mid-month Inspiration..

Hi everyone..

Time for a little reminder of the challenge over on
Pop over for all the details..

Ive made a little card this time. Ive used the "Dragonfly" stamps from the Decoupage range.
You can find it in the STORE along with all the other amazing goodies..

This card is made on water colour card where i stamped my Dragonfly stamp with versamark and covered with white embossing powder. I then had a play with distressinks and sprays before decoupaging the wings of the Dragonfly itself.
The rest of the card is made using a doily die, red card stock, bow and LOADS of flatback pearls.
Ive left the sentiment of it for now, but when I need the card I will add a small tag tugged under the bow with the greeting on it.

And that is all from me for today.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Imagination Crafts Challenge

Happy NEW YEAR everyone..

I hope you all had a great new years eve and landed safe and sound in 2015..
Wow I cant believe we are writing 2015 already.. hmm must be age creeping up on my lol..

Anyway, its time for the new challenge over on
Pop over to the blog for all the details on how to enter.

For this months challenge Ive used the folloing goodies from Imagination Crafts:

Other goodies.
Old jar
Androndiac inks
Black embossing powder
Versamark
Ribbon, pearl string and charm.

Here is what Ive made for this month..

For this project I coloured my jar with inks on the inside, then started on the outside.. I took my mask and lay it over the jar holding it firmly in place. I only did one music note at the time using the versa mark and black embossing powder. The embossing powder took quite some time to set after melting, so i worked on oposite sides of the jar, one note at the time.
It took a bit of time to do, once it the jar was decorated with the pearls and ribbon, I really think it was worth the while.

And that is all from me for today. Hope to see you all in the challenge.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Imagination Crafts mid-month inspiration

Morning crafty friends..

A little post from me today to share my mid-minth inspiration project for

Pop over to the CHALLENGE BLOG for all the details.

For this project I have used:

A very simple card but i do think it turned out sooo pretty. Mind you I think anything that sparkle and glitters is pretty lol..
For this card, I simpl put my stencil down on my card stock and added the glitter paste through the stencil. Removed the stencil and left it to dry.
Once dry, I did my matting and layering, added a little bow and voila..
Very simple yet very effective..

And that is all from me for today. Look forward to see all the entries in the challenge.
Thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.
