Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge 5 - "Other then a card.."

Morning blogger friends..

Crafty bloggers network challenge goes LIVE this morning..

When we on the DT got the list of challenges coming up, the one I got MOST excited about was this one.. Im not an all round crafter, but I do love scrapbooking. So for this one, I knew strait away what I was gonna make. When I scrapbook, I totally get lost in my own world. Its a little piece my history I put on the page. For years, I never really shared much of my scrap but recently my hubby encouraged my to open up that part of my world as well. I have such pasion for scrapbooking that I try and get EVERYONE to join in, I drive people mad lol. The reason why I love it so much, is that every moment of our lifes are memories, good or bad, that needs to be precerved and remembered. And with 3 small kids, what better gift can I give them, then a look through MY eyes, how I see the world they grow up in...

So I truly hope that I can inspire others to take up scrapbooking, if for NO other reason, then to share your own history, with the ones you love..

Recipie:

All I used for this LayOut was:
  • Disney's "more than just a Paper Pack". It comes with all the embelishments and letter pack.
  • A few brads and gems
  • Leaf punch, flower punch, sanding tool and a brow pen for the fake stitches
The story behind the picture is really just as the title says. Its my little son, only 10month at the time, and his VERY best friend to this day still, Doggie.. These days Doggie stays in Michaels bed, but as soon as he gets home from school, he runs up to Doggie and tells him about his day while he gets changed... Man and his best friend :-)

I hope I have inspired you all to give scrapbooking a go, if you havent already. But no matter what kind of craft you prefeer, I hope to see you all on the challenge blog.

Hugs to you all, Marleen xxx
