Sleigh ride - Colourific Inspiration

Hello Everyone
and welcome to my blog.

Once again wednesday and my turn to share some inspiration using the amazing stamps from Colourific.

For todays card I've used the "Santa's Sleigh" set.

Once again a very simple card.
I started with a black piece of card stock which I ran through my big shot with an embossing folder.

I then stamped, also on black card stock, the sleigh with versamark ink and heat set it using gold embossing powder.
I die cut the greeting and the holly for the corner and heat set them as well with the same gold embossing powder.

I finished by creating a mat, using the same embossing powder, by just swiping my versamark pad around the edges and heatsetting the powder.

And that is all from me for today.

Daring Cardmakers Challenge - Guest designer

Hello Beautiful People
and welcome to my blog.

Its time for my second post for the
Daring Cardmakers Challenge Blog.

Its a weekly challenge and I have joined the DT for the month of september.
Make sure to pop over to the blog for all the deatils.

The challenge this week is "Embossing".

The brief said any kind of embossing so I managed to sqeeze 2 kinds in here. My card front has been dry embossed with an embossing folder and my "Love" sentiment is heat embossed with siver embossing powder.
I used distress ink for my gradient colour, the anchor is a stacked diecut and I used my misty to get my sentiment on. As i was stamping on top of the dry embossing it came out with wee gaps but I just used a fine liner to fil in any gaps.

And that is it. For all the details of the challenge pop over to the blog.

Weekly inspiration for Bee Crafty..

Hello Blogger friends..

Once again wednesday and my turn for a spot of inspiration for

I pulled out the Banksy stamps from the last release on Hochanda and made a quick card.
I used "The Maid" set but dont forget, you can buy all the stamps individually in the STORE as well.

For this card I made a background using different colours of Distress inks. I use the pads but you could do this with Distress sprays as well. I then took my background and ran through my big shot with an embossing folder with the cloud motive on it. Once through, I stamped my different stamps in black archival and finished by using the ghost tecnique making the faint bricks.

And that is all from me for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.
