Delicious Doodles Challenge

Hey blogger friends..

A  post from me today for the the new challenge over on
Pop over to the blog for all the details.

The theme for this challenge is"Alternate Halloween Colours"
Ive used the images called "Creepy Alphabet"  & "Cobweb Backing" and you can find it in the STORE.

Had a right play making this one :-)
I started by printing my cobweb and cut it to size to fit my card, then got creative with distress inks. Once I was happy with the colours on the web and it was all dry, I used black embossing powder and a quicky glue pen to highlight some of the threds. And I made sure to make a mess with the powder in the corners too :-).
My alphabet letters was re-sized in word, printed and cut to size before adding distress inks and finished with cracle glossy accent.

And that is all from me today. Hope to see you all in the challenge.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Delicious Darkness Challenge - Creepy Crimbo

Hi everyone..

Can you believe its the 13th of December already??
The countdown till Santa has REALLY started now..  Im so excited :-)

Anyway, being the 13th also means that the new challenge has gone live over on
Delicious Darkness

Who would have thought that I would really enjoy crafting with the "dark" images.
I really enjoy it and making a "dark" christmas card was so much fun.

The theme for this month is
Creepy Crimbo

For this month I have used:
You can find them all in the STORE...

Creating a "dark" card (I personally) find quite hard.
I dont have the natural collection of "dark" embelishments as I know some of my teamies does. I do have black stuff in my stash ofcourse, but its mainly flowers and lace and besides I dont want all my "dark" projects just to be black.
And that is why I came up with the idea of using a medley of images.
All the images is printed on watercolour card stock and coloured with Distress markers.
I then took my time and cut all the images out. I mainly used a small pair of sissors, but fot the inside of the snowflake, I used my craft knife.
Once all was cut out and and layered on my card, I sprayed the whole card with my home made glimmer mist.

And that is all for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behimd

Delicious Doodles challenge.

Hi guys..

Its time for this weeks challenge over on

The theme for this weeks is
Non-traditional christmas.

This week Ive used the image called "Swirly Snowflake"
You can find this image and all the other amazing images, over in the STORE...

THis project started out by a "mistake". I had my image coloured and put to the side while making another project. I was spraying water over the other project when i missed my project and sprayed over this image. As ive coloured with distress ink, as soon as it gets wet it started to bleed.
I loved the effect on the christmas tree so I sprayed even more water until I got the effect you see on the finished project.
The rest of the card came together very quick. I made up the background to match the image and the sewing machine and the diecut trelish took care of the rest.

And that is all from me for today. Hope to see you all over on the challenge blog.
thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

The little holly in the corners is a stamp I have in my stash. Also stamped on water colour card and coloured with distress markers.

Delicious Darkness Challenge - "Bloddy Hell"

Hi guys..

A quick post today to let you all know that the new challenge is LIVE over on

The theme for this month is:
"Bloddy Hell"

This month I have used the following images:
You can find them all in the STORE

Here is what I have made:
My appologies for only having the 1 photo. I was fully sure that I had taken the photoes that I needed before sending the frame to the recipent.. Needless to say, I hadnt...

Anyway, this frame started out as a very cheap plastic gold frame.
I covered the frame in 1 coat of black acrylic paint. Once that ws dry, I went over the frame again with black paint, but this time only in the corners and where I wanted to add a bit more darkness.

The picture itself was very easy to make.
I cut a piece of black card stock to fit inside the frame and added some gold leaf.
I then printed, coloured and cut out my images before layering them up, on to my black cardstock.

I pic the picture in the frame and voila... all done.

Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind
