This card is made with a Brusho background and my image is coloured with promarkers. The greeting is die cut and the wee leaves are from my stash.

 You can find the image Ive used over in the STORE with the all the other fantastic images.

This card was a simple matting and layering card. I ran my red cardstock through my bigshot in an embossing folder do add a bit of texture. My image is printed and coloured with promarkers and chalk and my greeting was just one i had in my stash.

And thats it.. really simple :-)

Card is a simple matting and layering card and finished with a few elements from the same kit as the papers.. Again a very simple card but personally prefeer that when making kids cards.

Card is a simple matting and layering card and finished with a few snaps.
Its very simple but personally prefeer that when making kids cards.

Mt Whimsical Little World - Inspiration

Today I have a mid-month Inspiration post to share for:

My Whimsical Little World.

For today, I have used the image called "Supplies in Mug"
You can find it in the STORE.

 I made this little jar for my eldest daughter. She has gotten to the age where she will spend many hours in her bedroom and she needed something to keep her paintbrushes in, so this image was just perfect.

The papers and elements I used are from "Dragon Lairs Design" and my image is coloured with distress markers and then cut out and added to the jar.

An extremely easy project to do, yet very effective storage.

New Design team - My Whimsical Little World

Morning blogger friends..

I hope you all have had a good summer??
Writing this, we have only 2 days of the summer holiday left and Im SOOO excited.. and also a bit scared/sad. My "baby" is starting school.. My eldest baby has started her last year in national school and my middle baby has hit 4th class.. Exciting but also scary lol..

Anyway.. with that I too have some lovely new adventures starting, and one of these is being asked to join the Design team for

My Whimsical Little World.

For my first project, I have used the image called "Alarm Clock"
You can find it in the STORE.

 For this card I started by printing my clock image onto watercolour card. I left the image to dry while I made my background.

My background is also made on watercolour card and its simply a blend of distress inks and water. I then took a stencil, layed it over my background and used a brown distress ink to get the text onto it.

Once that was done, I went to my clock. This was also coloured with layers of distress inks, but once dry I added a couple of layers clear embossing power to make the shine.

I layered it all together with some brown card stock and finished with dymo text and a few gems..
